Sydney Geyer, B.A.
Graduate Counseling Intern
Sydney Geyer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University in 2025. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Community Trauma Counseling with a concentration in Play Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University. Following graduation in Spring 2027, Sydney plans to continue her professional development toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
During her undergraduate studies, Sydney completed her first internship at SEC in Summer 2024. In Summer 2025, she served as a Personal Support Advocate at Camp Kef through the Kaiserman JCC, where she provided one-on-one support to campers and helped them develop and practice emotional regulation skills.
In addition, while pursuing her graduate studies, Sydney worked as a Personal Care Assistant for Autistic students in the Pennridge School District in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. She has experience working with a wide range of age groups, including children on the autism spectrum in kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as adults.
Sydney has a passion for working with both children and adults, with a particular interest in supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and those who are neurodivergent. In her free time Sydney enjoys nature, dance, and cultivating new friendships!
