Allison Hopfan, MSW, LSW

Licensed Social Worker

Allie is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who is passionate about providing quality, client-centered care. She offers a supportive, collaborative environment for individuals to explore challenges, celebrate strengths, and develop skills that help them feel confident and capable as they work toward lasting progress and positive change.

Before becoming a therapist, Allie spent several years as a storyteller and content producer across television, digital, and marketing platforms after earning her B.A. in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania. In that work, she developed a deep appreciation for understanding people's stories in context - how relationships are shaped by the larger social and cultural landscapes around them. It was this interest in relationship-building and advocacy that inspired her to change paths and pursue a career in mental health.

Allie returned to the University of Pennsylvania to earn her Master of Social Work and has gained experience in a range of clinical settings, including working as a middle school counselor, a hospital social worker, and in community mental health. These diverse experiences have strengthened her ability to meet young clients where they are, tailor interventions to a wide variety of needs, and use evidence-based practices to support meaningful progress and positive change.

Allie's approach to therapy is warm, relational, and strengths-based. She believes in creating spaces where clients feel safe, seen, and celebrated for who they are. In every interaction, Allie brings curiosity, compassion, and authenticity, with a commitment to building trusting relationships and helping clients feel truly heard, supported, and empowered to be themselves.
