Support Therapists

Karen Zweben, Reading Specialist.  Karen attended Drexel University, where she received her masters in reading and masters in human behavior and development. She also attended Widener University where she received her Ed.D in candidate reading and learning. She works with children and adolescents between the grades of K-12 and works with all facets of reading – comprehension at literal and critical levels, and written expression. She is Wilson trained and offers aid in study skills and organization, ADHD support, and holds reading and writing workshops

Julianne Brownhill, OTR/L.  Julianne is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist with 24 years experience.  She graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.  She has worked within a variety of clinical and educational settings throughout her career including early intervention and school based systems within Delaware and Chester Counties.  She has experience working within the areas of fine motor development, feeding and adaptive/self care skills, facilitation of purposeful play, visual motor/perceptual skills, executive skill development, handwriting and sensory processing.  She believes that sensory processing skills are a fundamental component to the building blocks for a child’s development.  She is passionate about supporting children and their families in obtaining a better understanding of how to differentiate and respond to a child’s individual developmental, sensory and behavioral needs
